Volunteers are Very Important to the City of Elliot Lake
Since 1971, the City of Elliot Lake Mayor and Council have recognized volunteers in the community.
These residents have improved the quality of life in the community by freely contributing their time, skill and energy.

| How does the Committee pick a winner? |
|
The Committee uses the following criteria to decide:
Each area is weighed on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being the lowest and 10 the highest. The winner will receive the highest score. |
| What happens once the Committee gives their report to Council? |
| Council reviews the Committee's report and gives their final approval. Once approved the winner will be told the date and time when he / she will receive the award. |
